Filter for peeler centrifuges – patented KÖGEL FILTER
CLIPPFILTER (EP 2572794)

CLIPPFILER = endless filter with square cords welded onto both sides for quick assembly in on-site, square drum grooves of peeler centrifuges. The CLIPPFILTER can be pushed into the grooves by hand. The metal clamping rings are no longer required. The fabric is always installed at right angles, with no offsets or creases, and does not require any specialist personnel for installation. The all-round sealing by the square profiles prevents any bypass flow. Product losses can thus be significantly reduced.

The CLIPPFILTER can be installed in both axial and radial drum grooves. Depending on the design, the square cords are welded onto the filtrate side or the cake side of the filter cloth.

The CLIPPFILTER are mainly made of double-layer polypropylene (PP) or polyetherketone (PEEK) fabrics. This means that the CLIPPFILTER can be used universally for all known solvents in the pH range from 1- 14.

The patented CLIPPFILTER thus replaces the outdated technology of cloth assembly, in which a rectangular filter cloth is wrapped with a separate caulking cord.

For the use of the CLIPPFILTER in new centrifuges, we recommend the use of our developed groove geometry, which is matched to our 10 mm square cord. The CLIPPFILTER principle succeeds optimally with this design.

The CLIPPFILTER can be individually adapted to the on-site centrifuge grooves. Square cords in the size range of 8 – 16 mm are available from stock.
