Filter hoses for candle filters and cricket filters

KÖGEL FILTER GmbH has know- how to manufacture filter bags for candle filter systems made by AMA (Mahle), DR. M and Pall.

Our filter bags can be made from the following materials:

• made of multifilament fabrics or needle felts made of the materials PP, PET, PA, PPS and PTFE
• made of needle felts and carrier fabrics with laminated ePTFE membrane, carrier materials are PP, PPS and PTFE
• made of round-woven monofilament and multifilament fabric structures

State- of- the- art production technology is available for the manufacture of the filter bags. The cutting is done with ultrasonic and laser technology. With our tubing line, filter hoses can be endlessly welded on the longitudinal seam and lengthened at the same time.

In the case of cricket filters, the filter hoses are usually sewn flat at the bottom. In ultra-fine filtration, this leads to considerable product losses. For this reason, KÖGEL FILTER has developed two methods for optimally sealing the hoses. It is possible to close the filter crosswise with a welded seam. The filter hoses can also be glued using the hotmelt process.
