FLUOROTEX- PTFE- Membrane- Filter

KÖGEL FILTER GmbH specializes in the manufacture of high- quality PTFE- membrane filter for the pharmaceutical, chemical and food industries. Our FLUOROTEX PTFE- Membrane- Filters are used in analysis and research as well as in industrial production.

The FLUOROTEX- PTFE- Membrane- Filter are manufactured in our ISO7 clean room. State- of- the- art laser technology is available for production. Cleaning, sterile packaging and sterilization of the filters can also be carried out in the clean room.

The special feature of our FLUOROTEX -PTFE- Membrane- Filter is that they are made exclusively from PTFE. The PTFE- membranes are available with pore sizes of 0.2 µm, 0.45 µm and 1.0 µm and are always laminated to a PTFE- support- fabric for stability. Our membrane- filters are therefore mechanically very robust and dimensionally stable. Due to the exclusive use of the PTFE- support- fabric, our filters can always be used without hesitation in the pH range of 1- 14. In addition, our PTFE- membrane- filters are chemically completely resistant to all organic solvents, acids and bases. They are also used at temperatures of up to 250°C and are therefore also suitable for steam sterilization. Since our filter concept is based exclusively on the material PTFE, there is no need for the customer to test the material properties with regard to mechanical, chemical and thermal resistance. The PTFE- membrane- filter from KÖGEL FILTER can always be used without hesitation in multi- purpose- production.

The FLUOROTEX- PTFE- Membrane- Filter are hydrophobic, chemically and biologically inert. They are therefore suitable for a variety of applications in analytics, research and production. There are applications in the filtration of aqueous and organic solutions, in microbiological analysis, gravimetry and analysis of particles, nucleic acid identification, sterilization of samples, pre- filtration and sample testing.

The KÖGEL FILTER range includes both sterile and non- sterile PTFE- membrane- filters. The filters can also undergo ethylene oxide (ETO) sterilization and be supplied in appropriate sterile packaging. Pre- assembled filter discs with the dimensions 13, 25, 37, 47, 90, 142 and 293 mm are available for suction filters and frits in analysis, research and the laboratory. Other dimensions can also be manufactured on customer request.
